1. Madagascar by train!

This guided 15 days adventure and discovery journey with several train rides (Tana - Andasibe, Moramanga - Tamatave, Moramanga - Vohidiala, Fianarantsoa - Manakara) takes us first to the east of the country, then through the central highlands to Fianarantsoa, and then to the southeast coast to  Manakara. It includes the visit of two nationalparks and several reserves, meeting the local population and many unforgettable moments! We'll offer in 2011 and 2012 the tour at the following dates (individual dates are possible too):

2. Face to face with the Malagasy population and the lemurs

This guided 18 days tour at fixed dates leads us first to the volcanic area around Ampefy and Analavory with a visit of the Geysirs, then to the Perinet reserve in the east, and then from Manambato on the Pangalanes canal to Tamatave. We then go further on to Foulpointe, and then by boat from Soanierana Ivongo to the beautiful island of Sainte Marie. We then fly back to Tana and drive through the central highlands to Fianarantsoa, and then by train to the southeast coast to  Manakara. We'll then visit the Ranomafana NP and have a ride on the very rare Micheline train car. Drive back to Tana in the end.

The South and the East in 15 days

Visit of the Ranomafana nationalpark in the eastern rainforest and visit of the Isalo Nationalpark with its rocks and canyons. Flight back to Tana. Visit of the nature reserve in Andasibe with the Indri Indri lemurs, mini-cruise on the Pangalanes canal, relaxing and discovery on Sainte Marie island (1425 Euro per person in doubleroom, tariff based on 4 pers., middle standard hotels, flights not included)
 

The East, West and South in 22 days

Visit of the nature reserve in Andasibe with the Indri , back to Tana, then to Miandrivazo via Antsirabe. Downstream the Tsiribihina river with its gorges. Visit of the Tsingy de Bemaraha. Visit the "Baobab avenue" and transfer to Morondava. Flight to Tulear and transfer to Ifaty for some relaxing days on the beautiful beach.                             On the road to the Isalo National park with its rocks and canyons, then visit of the Ranomafana national park in the eastern rainforest and back to Tana. The South and Southeast in 15 days

Flight to the south. Visit Ifaty with its beautiful beach and backlands with endemic fauna and flora. Drive to Ranohira and visit of the Isalo nationalpark, then trainride to Manakara and by car to Mananjary. Boat trip along the Pangalanes canal to Ambohitsara, a tipical village between sea and canal. Back to Mananjary, drive to Ranomafana and visit of the park, then drive back to Tana (1445 Euro per person in  double room, tariff based  on 4 pers., middle standard hotels, flights not included)

The East

The South in 8 days

Via Antsirabe to the National parks of Ranomafana (rainforest) and Isalo (with its canyons), where you can see many endemic plants and animals. Through a subdesertic  area with some colourful Mahafaly tombs decorated with sculpted woods  and some dry forest to Tuléar. Back to Tana by airplane.
